Smokin’ Deviled Eggs

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup real mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Smoked Olive "Engine 18" Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sapore’s Smoked Sea Salt

Hard boil eggs. Slice cooled eggs in half lengthwise and pop yolks into a small mixing bowl. Mash with a fork until smooth. Add the mayonnaise, Smoked Olive Oil, chives, salt & pepper to the yolks and mix well. Spoon equal amounts of the yolk mixture back into the halved egg whites. Sprinkle with Smoked paprika.

Arrange figs, cut side up, in a large shallow baking dish. Sprinkle sugar evenly over figs and broil 2 to 3 inches from heat until most of the sugar is melted and carmelized, about three to five minutes.

Dish up 4 bowls of the vanilla ice cream, place three warm figs on top each bowl, and drizzle with the aged balsamic vinegar. Serves 4
