This low acidity vinegar is made from Merlot wine, and aged 12 months in French oak. The family that makes this vinegar founded their company in 1908 and is being run by the fifth generation.
Like the red Merlot wine, this vinegar is lush and fruity. Try this as a vinaigrette especially for salads with strawberries, red currants or raspberries. Also a good marinade for duck, steak, salmon and tuna and chicken.
